Friends of the Secaucus Public Library Summer Writing Contest

The Friends of the Secaucus Public Library Summer Writing Contests are held to encourage and recognize writing among adults, teens and youth living in our community.

Contestants are asked to submit one original short prose story having a central theme. The story may be fiction or narrative non-fiction. A grand prize winner will be chosen in each of the following age groups: Youth (ages 10-13); Teen (ages 14-17) and Adult (18 and older.) Youth entries must be no less than 500 words and no more than 2000 words. Teen and Adult entries must be a minimum of 1000 words and a maximum of 5000 words.
